The William Heughan Associated Special Trust (WHAST) shall hold all personal data securely for 8 years from the end of the financial year in which an individual first contacts WHAST for a Grant, Community Prize or any other financial award. In the case of the Christmas Awards for senior citizens, their personal data shall be held for as long as they are eligible for this award.
WHAST, its professional advisors and the Local Advisory Committee will only use this data for carrying out its legal aims as a charitable trust. It will not be shared with any other third party.
Acceptance of any award or payment of money from WHAST includes permission by the party receiving the award or payment to publicise this fact on the ‘heughantrust.com’ website (including photographs) although, in the case of individuals, no mention of individual names will be made unless they give specific permission. If you do not wish to provide us with this permission, then please tell us when submitting your request for an award.
Any person wishing to delete their data can do so at any time by contacting WHAST who will action such requests in a timely manner.
